The purpose of this study was to determine: a). the extent to which the effect of
Complementary Liquid Fertilizer (PPC) G. the early growth of sugarcane varieties in different
treatments. b). Differences in early growth of sugar cane on each variety tested, c). Interaction
between Supplementary provision Liquid Fertilizer (PPC) and each treatment on the growth of
early varieties of sugarcane.
Methods This study used a randomized block design (RBD) are arranged in factorial,
consisting of 2 factors and repeated 3 times with 2 plant samples. The first factor is the wide
varieties of sugar cane which consists of three levels, namely: Varieties PS V1 = 881, V2 =
Varieties GMP, and V3 = Variety Kidang Kencana (KK). The second factor is a Complementary
Liquid fertilizers consisting of three levels, namely: K0 = without supplementary liquid fertilizer,
PPC K1 = 5 ml / liter of water. And PPC K2 = 10 ml / liter of water.
Research results showed that: 1. Liquid fertilizer concentration treatments complement
(ppc) had no significant effect on the observation variable speed germination buds, but overall
significant effect on the variable length observation of plants, number of leaves, number of tillers,
fresh weight and dry weight of plants. 2. Sugarcane varieties treatment had no significant effect
on the observation variable number of leaves at age 21 HST, and the number of tillers at 45
DAT., But overall significant effect on the observation variable speed buds germination, plant
length, number of leaves, fresh weight and dry weight plant. 3. Interactions between treatment
factors complementary combination liquid fertilizer concentration (ppc) with sugarcane varieties,
only occurs in the variable length observations of plants at the age of 35 and 42 dap. and the dry
weight of the plant at the end of observation (age 45 HST.). Liquid fertilizer supplement (ppc)
with K2 = 10 ml concentration PPC / liter of water combined with varieties V1 = PS. 881,
(K2V1) can deliver significant results to the dry weight of the plant.
