Productivity of Bananas in Indonesia is stillvery low compared to the other
countries thats a banana producers, improvement effort sconducted by the
multiplication of banana plants using on-conventional methods (modern) is the
method of tissue culture. Banana plant propagation with issue culture by cutting most
of the organs of plants are then grown on artificial media to form the perfect plant.

The purpose of this experimentis to study the stages of work in plant
propagation banana (Musa paradisiaca) with issue culture methods are implemented
in the laboratory. Experimental method used is the method of laboratory experiments
using issue culture technique (Bud Organ) banana plants.

Constraints in the implementation of tissue culture is the first obstacle in
tissue culture is contamination of the explants that we planted. Sterilization treatment
effort with planting material before planting, the need for specialized skills, discipline
and perseverance in carrying explants. The second obstacle is the presence of phenols
in the network, to over come this is usually given anti-oxide compounds (Vitamins,
DIECA cystein, Charooal, etc.) in the medium to inhibit the oxidation of phenol. The
third do stacleis the meristematis energy is very slow so that the issue that we grow
slower on ceinduced by the plant (buds).
